Client: UNDP Albania
UNDP is the UN’s global development network, working in about 170 countries and territories and helping to achieve the eradication of poverty and the reduction of inequalities and exclusion. Present in Albania since 1991, UNDP works with the Government and People of Albania, including its civil society and businesses, to strengthen the rule of law, promote human rights and freedoms, protect the environment and support economic and social reforms for social inclusion and an equitable society.
Scope
With the purpose of facilitating its cooperation with the Albanian institutions and organizations in support of Albania’s EU integration and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, the UNDP has undertaken the translation of all relevant documents in the Albanian language. The UNDP has contracted Albaglobal since 2009 and ongoing for the provision of such services through a fair, open and transparent competitive bidding process.
Results
Considering the growing needs for translation and interpretation services, Albaglobal employed a professional team of translators with extensive expertise in the relevant fields, providing the UNDP with high-quality translation and interpretation from English to Albanian and vice versa, ensuring workflow efficiency and maintaining consistency and quality across projects. In addition to the translation of approximately 2 million words over the years, Albaglobal has also provided interpretation services in the activities organized by the UNDP and its project implementing partners.
