The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH or GIZ is a German development agency headquartered in Bonn and Eschborn that provides services in the field of international development cooperation. The GIZ Office Tirana provides support to the Albanian governmental institutions and other related stakeholders in providing sustainability to the installed technical and development dialogue under the German technical assistance for all GIZ projects in Albania.
Scope
In the framework of GIZ activity in Albania, the provision of quality translation services is of an utmost importance for the smooth communication and transfer of knowledge and/or experiences between the involved parties, as well as for the successful performance of all cooperation projects. In this view, Albaglobal has been entrusted with the provision of professional translation services in the field of Development Cooperation (legal, economic and social fields) from and to Albanian, German, and English, for the needs of GIZ Office Albania.
Results
Through the engagement of a highly skilled team consisting of 7 translators, 3 proofreaders and 2 project managers, Albaglobal has translated roughly 100k words for GIZ, with language pairs including English-Albanian and vice versa and German-Albanian and vice versa. In addition, Albaglobal has also provided simultaneous and consecutive interpreting both in Albania and abroad, with the engagement of 10 professional interpreters with thorough subject knowledge. Through the outstanding dedication, expertise and professionalism of our team, we have facilitated communication and understanding between the involved parties, thus contributing to the success of GIZ cooperation projects in our country.
